Does Your Phone Weight 500lbs?

What is the first thing you’re asked to do and have your new recruits do as well?  Right.  You’re told to make a list.  That’s good.  NOW WHAT?  Well, go call ‘em of course.  But it’s not that simple is it?  If it was, everybody would just do it.  So often we feel a little like the dog that caught the car.  Uh oh, now what – I was only really about the chase!

What’s the problem?  We are told WHAT to do but we are not told HOW to do it.  Take a moment to answer this question.

What do people do when they are not sure of what to do?  If you said, ‘nothing’ you’re right.

You Just Identified Why Most of the People You Start in Business (Maybe Even You), Never Get Out the Gate.

That’s right, unless you know what to do, i.e., go call everyone on your list.  Plus, you know how to do that, (for example, what the hell are you going to say after you say ‘hello”).  Your success and the success of your team will elude you.

Instead of making calls you might start to experience heartburn, anxiety or worse.  You might start thinking about how cleaning the refrigerator looks pretty appealing – way more appealing than THE PHONE.

Here’s the deal.  Why do you and your new team members feel that way?

  • FEAR
  • Afraid you won’t know what to say.
  • Afraid you’ll sound unprofessional.
  • Afraid they’ll think you’re nuts.
  • Afraid that maybe you are nuts.
  • You start asking yourself if you’re crazy – wondering whether this will really work.

Does this spin cycle sound familiar?

The fear and self-doubt spiral is a killer.  But there is a cure.  Knowledge is power and confidence is queen (okay for you fellas king).  This is exactly what our second 90 minute session It’s All About Making Calls covers.

What You Will Learn

We will run you through a set of protocols, questions, and scripts that will lead you step-by-step into any conversation with any person and just about anywhere.

Two things this is NOT:

  • This is NOT about the nasty three foot rule.
  • This is NOT about ‘fake it until you make it’ crap.

This is about:

  • Professionalism
  • Developing confidence
  • Creating a strategic plan to open, guide and complete a conversation
  • Tools to determine if someone has interest in knowing more.

That simple.

Listen to what Melissa McAnelly had to say about these techniques:

I have made more calls since I started coaching than I have in my entire network marketing career.  When I signed up, I was very nervous, I actually had an anxiety attack, not knowing if I could do it.

I’m at a level now that I knew I needed to be – but never quite got there.

I’d recommend it to anyone who is willing to be coachable.  I think you will be completely successful with anything Jillian and Amy put out.

The CEO marketing approach is brilliant, puts you completely at ease with what you’re doing.  I’m in love with the program, you guys are fabulous.

We did say that this program is about . How do you do that?  By talking to people.  In Part 2 of this audio session we’re going to talk to people who used these techniques about how their calls went.  That’s right, hands on real coaching about real world situations, not theory.

If the idea of being accountable to actually make calls turns your stomach into a knot, makes your palms sweaty, taking a valium seem reasonable, or cleaning toilets a happy chore, please stay with us here.  We can and have made those symptoms go away.  We’ve helped folks turn the corner from paralyzing fear to running a professional business.  Here’s what Joanne Ryan had to say:

I decided to get personal coaching because I needed help in getting going.  Little did I know that this would be a learning experience for me that would help me in many different areas of my life.

My upline is “there for me” and would tell me that once I just “make the calls” I’d get it going.   Well, I couldn’t do it.  I’d psych myself up to make the calls on such and such a date and something would get in the way.  ME.

When I was ready, I’d hyperventilate, feel anxious and I just couldn’t apply any of the information that I was reading about in book after book about network marketing.

I found Savvy Sponsoring before Christmas.  I listened in on the 3 weeks of free coaching in April and was hooked and started their Power Prospector Course.

I am still scared to be honest, but I’m not frozen.  But I’m so glad I spent the money!  It’s a great personal and entrepreneurial learning experience.  I am talking to people.  I pick up the phone!

I have more people in my pipeline.  I’m soaking it all in, getting in the groove, taking responsibility and where I once had nothing but anxiety I now have an ever-growing comfort level.  Thanks Jillian and Amy I’m building a business today because of you and your coaching.

We’ll walk through the process of how to open a call, direct it and bring it to completion.  What’s left for you to do?

Practice… That’s where the proficiency happens, in the practice.

That’s right, unless you:

  1. Know what to do: Call everyone on your list
  2. Know how to do it: You know exactly what you’re going to say
  3. Prepared for it: You’ve written it down
  4. Developed confidence: You’ve practiced it

Without that four step combination you most likely have NOT moved your business forward.

Even though we sometimes feel alone and like all our business-building challenges are unique, you’ll learn by listening to these audios that everyone faces the same challenges.  You’ll hear us help other people overcome their challenges so you can do the same.
