Feature Article...
While the cats away the mice will play. Or will they work?

While the cat's away…

Hello Dear Business Owner…it’s the mice here. Jillian’s team of Savvy Sponsoring mice, also known as the Behind the Scenes Team, that is!

While Jillian is away this week, we have the wheel, or is that the catnip?

Seriously though, as a business owner, have you ever asked yourself what you would do if you had to be away from your business for a while?

Whether it’s for something planned long in advance, or something sudden and unexpected…

What would your team and business do, if you needed to step aside, for a week, a month, a year?

What would happen to your business? What would happen to your customers?? Would you dread coming back to a big slump and have to rebuild everything after cleaning up a mess?

Better yet…would it be easy and stress-free for you to respond gracefully in the moment, and be able to leave knowing wholeheartedly that ‘all would be well?’

This week’s ezine is all about that. Because truth be told, although the saying goes that while the cat’s away, the mice will play…that’s okay by us because to us, our work is play. We get pretty excited when Jillian takes off because it means we get to make things smooth as silk and publish things like…this article.

To start you thinking in the direction of ‘How can I have a team like that?’ let’s ask you a few coaching questions. Print this out so you can fill in the answers, or just take out a notebook now and go for it.

Question #1:

Can you trust others to do the job?  Being able to trust is a big factor in this.  Have a look in the mirror and ask…if I had to leave my business now, in the next 5 minutes, who I could trust?  (Bonus points for answering: Why can I trust them OR why can’t I?)

Question #2:

Are you modeling a business owner who wants to be replaceable?  Put another way, are you preventing or encouraging a team to grow as strong as they can be, even if that means stronger than you?

Anyone can start a business, that’s the easy part.  Keeping it going through various growth stages is not necessarily difficult, but it does require some different tools and thinking.  How can you shift your thinking on this point?

Question #3:

Are you saying ‘no’ to the help that wants to find you?  Whether that be team members, mentors, even us here at Savvy Sponsoring?  What help could you use, right now, that would make the biggest difference?

(Bonus point: Would you like your team to grow to the point where they can fill your shoes?)

It’s an easy yes/no question but you’d be surprised how many people haven’t answered resoundingly in their own hearts and minds.

If you said ‘yes, you could use some help’ and ‘yes, you’d like your team to (out)Grow you, we the mice, officially invite you to take part in a complimentary one-hour call with Savvy Coach Norine, on Wednesday March 29, at 10:00 to 11:00 AM (Pacific time)

If you’ve been on these calls before you know they are fun, fast moving, and super rich. So come along again for the ride, why don’t ya?

If you’ve never been on these calls before, well…let’s call it like it is because that’s what Jillian would want… you’re saying ‘no’ to help that could make a true difference to your business, plain and simple.  Now what are you going to do THAT for??

Why not see if you can’t get your energy moving in a big way toward making this your best year yet.  It’s one hour, and even though Norine will be talking about the next “Get Your Year In Gear” Coaching Program, there is no obligation.  In fact, we might even give **you** a gift, just for attending.

We hope to see you there!

Rock on,

The Mice

P.S. If you can’t wait and want to go for the “Get Your Year in Gear” Program now, we don’t blame you… it’s been really eye-popping to see the growth achieved by previous business builders. The link to sign up is below…go on, we know you want a nice long vacation this year…

Jillian – I’ve been thinking of you lately – a number of my team are jumping in to your series and getting connected with your coaching programs and I just LOVE IT! I have about 5 girls who are hitting above 15-24K in their Areas consistently and I’d like to see them go Region soon. I know that when I got plugged in to your series, that is where I was at in volume and just 3 months after your series, we started our qualifications for Region.
Blessings!             Looking forward to talking with you soon... ~ Becky

Did you begin this year full of hope and promise but find yourself back into last year's hamster wheel or still buried under that never ending "to do" list?

I’m clear that most people who come into network marketing will fail.
I realize that’s a really bold statement, but I’ve worked with thousands of people in the network marketing industy over the last 15 plus years as both a sponsor and a coach and I’ve seen it.
But what’s worse, you don’t need to fail.

The reason for failure is typically a lack of business skills. The number of people who fail can be dramatically reversed into successes with the right tools at hand.
How am I so sure? I’ve had a traditional business fail because I didn’t use simple business skills. And originally I worked way too hard to build my network marketing business because I didn’t use simple business skills.

And it had nothing to do with my ability to sponsor people. I know how to do that. That’s why sometimes my business was, for a while, financially successful (in spite of me!). But I was not able to keep the money or sustain the business over time.

If you could work the next nine months of 2006 polished, planned and prepared - what difference would it make?

I am so pleased to be offering the 6-week "Get Your Year In Gear" (GYYIG) Program - Discover the 6 strategies that will enable you to set the scene for a simply fantastic start to next year and to every year.

If you participate:

  • You will have a drop dead clear understanding of what you want from your business in the next yearAt the conclusion of this six week course you will put your feet on the ground every morning knowing exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals.Your focus will be on ways to make your business work so that money is the result of what you do. It will not be on stressful money goals
  • Your approach to your business will be entirely different and everyone around you will notice, including those you’ve been “trying” to recruit.
Last November we said we were only offering this class once until next year. But I think 2006 can still be your best year yet if you get the right tools under your belt. So we’re ready to go again. How about you, Are you ready to”Get Your Year In Gear?”
