Personal Note...

This issue is all about something I see, well often enough, for me to make this issue all about it…Many of us whenever someone says “yes, I’m interested” seem to be a bit like the dog that caught the UPS truck or that deer in headlights.

You don’t know what to do!

I’ve actually had people say to me, “I was relieved when I got an answering machine because I could either:

1. leave a message
or
2. hang up!

Please take a look at our featured article for some really good ways to be ready and welcome the “yeses” you get….as well as how you might be able to generate more of them!

Congratulations Delaine...


Since starting the Savvy Sponsoring coaching I have to say that I am so much happier at the end of my day!  I have learned how to efficiently use a calendar - I actually went and purchased one with 15 minute increments.  I didn't understand how it would ever work for me, but I decided to try it.  Taking time to plan my day is priceless.  I have been getting things done that just never seemed to get done.  It's affecting my personal life as well as my business.  I made a phone call today that had been needing to be done for months!  The result was that I have $200 more in my pocket than I had this morning, and had I waited until next month to make the call it would have been too late and the $200 would have been out the window!

All this, and I also have more time for ME!  It's right in my calendar.  My calendar isn't my boss.  I'm my own CEO.  It's not that I'm always right on schedule; it's that I am aware of what is and isn't being done in any moment.  The ever present feeling I had before that I "should" be doing something else and feeling guilty because I wasn't is gone!  Now that I have this piece working for me I can focus on putting the actions that bring growth to my business right into my planner!
I appreciate this training so much!

When I started the coaching program, my average monthly volume was $30,000.  I started in March and immediately began to implement what I was learning and my team and volume began to grow.  I promoted to Regional Vice President within 2 months and now my average monthly volume is $58,000.  By incorporating store hours, I am able to block out the important time with my family first and work my business around them.  I have trained my team on the 5-step approach and love seeing them start new consultants by training them on the approach as well.

Congratulations Faye...

 

When I heard Jillian on the first Savvy Sponsoring E-zine call, I was CRYSTAL CLEAR (and I have heard others) I needed to take the Savvy coaching course. But more importantly my Business Builders needed to do it with me so that we can all learn EFFECTIVE BUSINESS SKILLS as we grow together.  This is more powerful than one person taking the course and then teaching it to their downline - duplication and growth is faster and more effective. This is what we all want and dream for our businesses, right?

There are 16 of my Business Builders doing the Savvy Program with me (there are 27 total in the Sunrider Savvy Mastermind group) and we are loving it.  We have only been doing the course about seven weeks and I have already noticed a huge shift within the group with our attitude excitement and action steps we are taking as we learn, apply and discuss the lessons taught by the Savvy Sponsoring Coaching Team.

We are so impressed with the Savvy program that we teach it at our
Business Meetings.  We want everyone to 'get it'.

Jillian and Rick are the Ultimate Coaches.  They are very systemic in their coaching approach with the Mastermind group.  They support us with one-one-one Laser Coaching to overcome personal blocks and objections.  They take us gently by the hand and help us 'GET OUT OF THE BOX'.  Most of all, they have a sincere goal to help us 'explode' our businesses.  They have very quickly seen our weak areas and gently help us on the right path for success. (They are no-nonsense but very safe.)

At the recent Sunrider Convention about 130 came to hear Jillian speak. They were so impressed with her knowledge of what to do and not do to be successful in this industry.  Several commented Jillian was the 'highlight' of the Convention for them!!  Next step (my advice)-Come on Board !!

I feel the tools from the Savvy Sponsoring program along with all the excitement happening in Sunrider right now, will take Sunrider North America to new heights.!!

Thank You Savvy Sponsoring!!!! Wow - the difference in my business from 5 months ago to now - is amazing! Our volume went from an average of 25,000 per month to completing July at 104,000! Our team is on track for completing National Vice President by October of this year. Some of my favorite aspects of the course: individual coaching and training with Norine, the worksheets that I get to share and train my team with, and the weekly calls and the friendships that I have made with the other Arbonne Consultants participating in the course - several of us will have completed Regional Vice President during the program!
We now have a stream-lined approach to our business and the results have been incredible! I have enjoyed every minute of the Savvy Sponsoring Program - it has made all the difference in my Arbonne Business!

Feature Article...
I got a 'YES' - Now What?

Answer this question for yourself: “What do people do when they are unsure of what to say or do next?”

If you said, nothing then you’ve given me the same answer I get every time I ask the question…Please hear that – Every Time.

Now let me ask you this, How many of you find you don’t talk to as many people as you “oughta,” should or could because you’re afraid that:

  1. You will say the wrong thing and blow through your warm market and then will have no one else to talk to
    Or
  2. You will say the right thing and someone will say “Yes, I’m interested what do you do?” Now you’re confronted with “process too complicated to explain (P2C2E).” (I thank Salman Rushdie for his wonderful book Haroun and The Sea of Stories and his delightful treatment of those of us committed to making things tougher than they need to be!)

Now I’m going to be bold here (you see if it’s the same as rude), P2C2E is (after working and speaking with hundreds of you as a coach ~if you count the years I was an active network marketer that number is thousands) at the top of the list as to why your business does not duplicate. The top of the list….

And it is simply because you’re not Savvy enough!

How do you fix this problem? Step 2.

What’s Step 2?

The first ezine you ever received from us here at Savvy Sponsoring introduced you to the "5 Steps to Work Less and Make Money In Network Marketing".

These five steps are an easy – yes easy, they are very simple, straightforward anyone can do them steps - that help you organize:

  1. Who you're going to speak with
  2. What you're going to say
  3. When you’re going to make the contact
  4. Getting clear on what your prospect/downline/whomever needs to do
  5. And when the follow up to the action is going to take place.

So what does it mean to be Savvy Enough? That you take some time to get the ideas you’d like others to know about your business out of your head and write them down on paper. It means you keep checking in with yourself (briefing and de-briefing) to see what’s working and what’s not working. Then go find someone to mastermind with about what you’re doing.

Finding someone isn’t difficult, you’ve got upline, crossline and you have access to coaching. Remember you have access once a month to my one hour complimentary call that you can bring anything you’re grappling with to the table. Anything!

So let’s bring this back to the notion of P2C2E

Each one of you needs to be ready with exactly what you’ll say about your business leading with either the opportunity or your product depending upon the circumstances. It’s important that you speak with authority, class and boldness in about a minute and a half.

Here’s the rub as I see it. Most of you suffer from P2C2E simply because you’ve never sat down and spent the time to solve the issue. You worry and procrastinate about talking to people and then when someone does fall into your lap you do all you can do to “put them off” because you don’t know what to say.

In order to get past this hurdle you do not need to have everything perfect.
In order to get past this hurdle you do not need to be making lots of money.
In order to get past this hurdle you do not need to know everything about your business.

All you need to do is STOP and spend a few minutes thinking about the benefits of your business to others…and get them on paper.

Linear-ize your thoughts, then what you know in your heart about your company will come out of your mouth!

Don’t know where to start? Start anywhere. Just pick up a pencil and write what you’d like them to know. Then edit. And when you’re done editing – edit it again. Then go talk with someone else you admire and respect who does understand Network Marketing.

It’s not an instant fix but it will revolutionize your business…guaranteed.
