Welcome:
Hello, I'm Jillian Middleton and I'm
delighted you're reading about and considering joining my 6-Month Savvy Sponsoring Program for Network Marketers. I'm
very excited about this program because I personally understand
how important sponsoring is to a network marketing business. How
do I know?
I've been involved in network marketing
since 1999 and have built 3 successful businesses. I've also
coached hundreds of people just like you to develop the skills to
create their own successful businesses. But it wasn't always like
that.
When I first started network marketing I was
afraid to talk to people. I had trouble sponsoring the right
people on a consistent basis. But sponsoring is the lifeblood of
network marketing. If I was going to build a successful networking
business I needed to do something new...quickly. I needed to learn
how to become great at sponsoring.
I hired a terrific business coach (thank you
Sonia Stringer!) I studied successful people and figured out what
they were doing. I discovered the 10 most common sponsoring
challenges. Then I learned the skills to overcome those
challenges. To my delight, it worked! I broke through my fear.
People started to show up... and this time, I knew what to say and
do.
It changed everything for me. I met my goals
in half the time and became a top money earner and moved quickly
to the top of my company's pay plan. I earned awards for sharing
the skills I learned with both downline and cross line. In 1999 my
in house coaching calls got "discovered" and I started
coaching people in other network marketing companies.
Today as president and founder of Savvy Sponsoring, I've coached network marketers from Arbonne, Excel,
ProStep, Fortune Hi-Tech, Oasis, Mannatech, and Life Force. I am
honored to be Vice President
of Training to a lead and resource
company to the network marketing industry.
But what is the most fun to me now, is this
program. I love working with serious individuals. I enjoy the high
degree of professionalism you bring to your businesses. Designing
this 6-Month Coaching Program around Network Marketers was fun and exciting. I look forward to sharing it with
all of you who join me. It will be an honor to participate in your
move to Higher Rank.
For those of you who would like to know more
about me before I entered the world of network marketing, I'll
continue to share.
My entry into network marketing was not what
one could call graceful.
I owned a rebar installation construction
business. We built public works, schools specifically. However,
the business was hit hard by a four plus year economic recession
and I simply couldn't outrun the financial disaster any longer. I
ignored all the signs that "My Cheese Had Been Moved"
and stayed in that business way too long. When I came to my senses
I was 48 years old and bankrupt. No savings, huge debt, lost my
home and really couldn't see my next move.
The truth be told, I wasn't totally crazy
about the notion of network marketing when my friend initially
approached me. It wasn't until I realized network marketing was so
incredibly leveraged that I fully understood the financial
opportunity.
Before the construction business, I was a
real estate broker for nearly eight years. Real Estate was very
good to me and I retired and went back to school to complete my BA
in psychology. It was wonderful getting to be a "full
time" student with no money worries. From there I went to UC
Irvine's Political Psychology PhD program. I loved the
intellectual stimulation of my program. But the real joy was
teaching undergrads. Bright eyed and bushy tailed ...and some of
them really wanted to learn.
I found my way to real estate because of a
client in my first business.
I was a horse trainer and owned and
operated an English riding school and hunter/jumper barn. It was a
wonderful life throughout my twenties. Most of my mornings I rode
really talented horses and in the afternoons I taught kids (mostly
girls 10 to 16 years) how to ride those horses.
So how did I get to real estate? As my
twenties were ending, I realized riding horses was getting to be
more work than it had been 10 years earlier and it might be
prudent to look into other things. (I was on top of that cheese
then!) A parent of one of my students was an extremely successful
real estate broker. She suggested I'd be perfect for real estate.
I'm forever grateful to her for her mentorship and guidance.
I'd say actually I've been lucky throughout
my careers having some wonderful mentors and teachers along the
way. There are no teachers like children. I taught hundreds in my
riding career. Gosh there were 300 students at the time I sold the
school and over a 100 horses. Kids keep you on your toes...they
also require an authenticity that as adults we may not be so
vigilant about. So, by the way do horses. They also require you to
be present (if your mind wanders you can easily find yourself on
the ground). Those 10 years were magical and gave me an incredible
basis to work with people in any walk of life.
So there you have it. All of this
brings me to this place, - coaching.
Not surprising really. Teaching shows up a lot in my life. I love it.
And now I'd love to show you how to turn
your sponsoring challenges into sponsoring strategies and move you
on to your next level. . .
I look forward to meeting and working
with you.
To your success,

Jillian Middleton
